How iKuuu VPN works on macOS

Connection flow, permissions and everyday habits are adapted to how macOS handles networking.

Dedicated builds for each chip

Separate Apple silicon and Intel packages run natively with low overhead – no translation layer on either architecture.

System proxy with terminal support

System proxy takes effect for browsers and apps immediately. Terminal sessions can point at the same local port via environment variables.

System extension, single permission

The VPN tunnel uses the system network extension. The permission prompt appears once; subsequent connections are silent.
